Last night, BKSK celebrated the opening of the BxW NYC exhibition at the Center for Architecture. The exhibition will run throughout March, for Women’s History Month, and closes on April 11th.

BxW NYC highlights 98 diverse sites throughout New York City that were designed, engineered, or constructed by women. The selected sites also feature strong design, have historical or cultural significance, and/or demonstrate substantial social or community impact. BKSK is proud to have two projects included: the Queens Botanical Garden Visitor & Administration Center in Flushing and the Sephardic Community Center in Brooklyn.

The exhibition and related programming is organized by the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation (BWAF), the force behind the overarching Built by Women initiative, with the support of the Women in Architecture committee of the AIA New York Chapter.
