Oklahoma City Residence
BKSK Architects designed and built this 12,000 square foot stone mansion with a guest house, which is situated on a suburban lot in Oklahoma City. An Anglo-Norman style was selected for its picturesque and handsome qualities. The interiors are carefully designed to be uncontrived and convincingly authentic. A rich palette of materials is used on the exterior: Texas Luders limestone, cut limestone, Vermont slate, timber and brick. The subtly asymmetrical front is relatively formal, while the back is freely asymmetrical in an informal manner, punctuated by an octagonal porch and stair tower.
