Adel Bagli

After moving from Bombay to Austin for graduate school, Adel was compelled to move to New York City. He finds architectural inspiration in all of New York’s neighborhoods, from the canyons of midtown skyscrapers to the patina of outer borough warehouses, each offering its own sense of vitality. In general, Adel has noticed that waterfront cities possess a special energy, perhaps because of their history of commercial activity and resulting richness of social and cultural activity.

His favorite corner of New York: The main concourse of Grand Central; it embodies many of the characteristics of successful urban spaces, including the inherent promotion of diverse velocities.
