Matthew Richardson
Director of Sustainability
Matthew received an introduction to the built environment at an early age, igniting an interest in the technical aspects of building combined with the creativity of design. His work is informed by a climatic and occupant based approach to design, with the intention that through adaptive architecture, the environmental quality in cities can be greatly improved. He is currently working on a research paper exploring the performance and application of engineered timber systems as a truly sustainable design strategy to grow our cities. Matthew is a Certified Passive House Consultant.
Outside of the office: Matthew is passionate about analog photography and even built a small darkroom in his new apartment. When the weather is nice, you can find him camping and climbing upstate and throughout New England.
