Sorcha Murphy
Sorcha cut her architectural teeth in Ireland before moving to New York by way of Chicago, Venice and Belfast. A licensed Architect in New York, she has an affinity for working within historical environments but is unafraid to combine this sensitivity for context with imaginative modern design. Sorcha believes strongly in the power of thoughtful design to create a more sustainable and equitable built environment. She has put this belief into action through her volunteer work with Open Architecture New York as well as in becoming a Certified Passive House Designer.
Surprise skill: Sorcha’s keen project management skills sometimes spill over into organizing and performing tribute concerts to Leonard Cohen and her other musical heroes.
