200 East 21st Street
The southeast corner of 21st Street and Third Avenue in NYC’s Gramercy neighborhood features the commanding presence of a contemporary multi-family residential tower. The interwoven glass and masonry tower is modern reinterpretation of the light brick and limestone detailing that pervades the neighborhood. In the tradition of Gramercy, there is a well-defined processional entry sequence starting from the street, proceeding through the entrance defined by a grand marquee, ascending up a lobby stair, and culminating in a skylit amenity space. The tower is designed to be highly sustainable and received LEED Gold certification.
