We do not share your PII with third parties so that they can advertise goods or services to you.

We do not allow third parties to place targeting cookies on your computer or device so that they can understand your online behavior in order to make you aware of goods or services that are of particular interest to you.

In addition, in the event of a sale of our company, we may transfer our rights in your Personal Information to an acquirer. This transfer would not be considered a sale under an instruction not to sell your Personal Information because it would be made in the context of a sale of our business.

What Choices Do You Have About Your Personal Information?

We will delete your email address and name from our records if you email us at privacy@bksk.com.

Data Retention

The time periods for which we retain your PII depend on the purposes for which we use it. BKSK will keep your Personal Information for as long as we have a legitimate and lawful purpose to do so. The information we collect may be stored and processed in servers in the United States and wherever BKSK and our service providers have facilities around the globe.

Children’s Privacy

This Site does not knowingly collect information from children under thirteen (13) years of age. If you are under thirteen (13), do not send any information about yourself to this site. In the event that we discover that a child under the age of thirteen (13) has provided Personal Information, we will immediately delete the child’s personal information.

Data Storage and Data Transfers

BKSK is headquartered in the United States, but may use service providers throughout world. As such, we and our service providers may transfer your Personal Information to, or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction.

Definitions

Data Controller

Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”)

Personally identifiable information (“PII”) is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household. PII includes, but is not limited to, the following if it identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could be reasonably linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household:

(A) Identifiers such as a real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, internet protocol address, email address, account name, social security number, driver’s license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers.

(B) Any of the following categories of Personal Information: information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with, a particular individual, including, but not limited to, his or her name, signature, social security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information.

(C) Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law.

(D) Commercial information, including records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.

(E) Biometric information.

(F) Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an internet website, application, or advertisement.

(G) Geolocation data.

(H) Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information.

(I) Professional or employment-related information.

(J) Education information, defined as information that is not publicly available personally identifiable information as defined in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. Sec. 1232g; 34 C.F.R. Part 99).

(K) Inferences drawn from any of the information identified in this subdivision to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.

PII does not include publicly available information. For purposes of this definition, “publicly available” means information that is lawfully made available from United States federal, state, or local government records. “Publicly available” does not mean biometric information collected by a business about a consumer without the consumer’s knowledge.

PII does not include consumer information that is deidentified or aggregate consumer information.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“NPII”)

Non-personally identifiable information is every kind of information except for Personally Identifiable Information.

Personal Information

Personal Information is both PII and NPII.
