Benedict Court is a new 120-unit multifamily apartment building in the heart of downtown Greenwich, Connecticut, with 40% of the units designated as affordable housing through the State of Connecticut’s 8-30g affordable housing program. The surrounding neighborhood features a mix of red-brick, six-story apartment buildings, situated just one block from the town’s main commercial avenue. Varied in architectural style but generally restrained in ornament, these buildings share a thoughtful approach to well-detailed brick facades, with crafted brickwork that establishes a sense of permanence and timeless proportion.

Benedict Court extends this character through the use of two brick tones and textural detailing, including window surrounds and a brick cornice. A gracious porte cochère provides a sheltered vehicular drop-off, while a covered pedestrian entry marks the building’s primary entrance from the street. The ground floor includes a range of amenity spaces, while a shared rooftop terrace offers views toward Long Island Sound. A cellar and sub-cellar provide indoor parking for residents.

"We wanted the building to blend into the aesthetics of Greenwich as it is… we wanted to make sure when it’s completed it looks like it belongs here."
