Project Type

Modern Home

Occupancy

2000

Location

Wooster St, SoHo, NYC

Client

Confidential

An actress’s raw 4,200 s.f. loft space in SoHo provided the opportunity for a vibrant modern renovation. BKSK worked with the client to maintain the open, loft-like character of the space while infusing it with a warm sense of sophisticated playfulness. Taking advantage of the loft’s unusual amount of natural light, we used textures and materials to define areas within the space. Sliding walls and an indoor swing help create a distinctive feeling of intimacy and energy without compromising the openness of the loft.
