Gansevoort Row wins a Brick in Architecture Award

Gansevoort Row is a 2021 Brick in Architecture Award winner!  It received a Gold Award in the commercial category. For this redevelopment of the city-block long set of 13 buildings, our overriding aesthetic goal was to reflect the historic context’s variety of brickwork, and to signal a district-wide rebirth. This award specifically recognizes the two largest buildings of Gansevoort Row (#60-68 and #70-74) which appear separate, but are now linked by one core. Brick was selected as our material of choice because it reflects the rich past of the Gansevoort Market Historic District.
