BKSK Partner, Joan Krevlin, FAIA Speaking at the 2021 American Society of Landscape Architects Conference

The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Conference on Landscape Architecture is approaching. Running from November 19-22 in Nashville, it will offer more than 100 educational opportunities over four days.

BKSK Partner, Joan Krevlin, FAIA will be speaking on a panel with Fine Concrete, and West 8, titled, “LandFormWork: Materials and Fabrication in a Conceptual/Spatial Loop of Collaborative Design”. BKSK project Battery Playscape will be highlighted as a case study, focusing on the project’s intrinsic collaboration between the team and between the built and natural environments. BKSK Architects and Starr Whitehouse led the design team including Fine Concrete, SITU, Maglin Site Furniture, and Richter Spielgerate at the new Battery playground, working with various materials and technologies to emphasize the existing form and ecology of Battery Park.
