2023 ACSA/AIA Intersections Research Conference on Material Economies
On Friday if you are attending the 2023 ACSA/AIA Intersections Research Conference on Material Economies, we hope you will attend our panel on the Architectural Ceramic Assemblies Workshop. In 2022 BKSK participated in ACAW, an academic and practical exercise in exploring the innovative ways that terra cotta can be used in building design. We will present our experiment and findings at the Intersections conference, at 11am during the Material innovations Session, moderated by Naomi Darling.
Created by The American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) the 2023 Intersections Research Conference “seeks to find what roles architects, designers, and researchers can play in the paradigm shifts necessary to practice with radical material responsibility.”
The conference will take place October 19–21, 2023 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Online registration is closed but you can register at the conference.
