BKSK was honored to attend this year’s Excellence in Historic Preservation Awards, hosted by the Preservation League of New York State.

We’re especially proud to celebrate our founder, Stephen F. Byrns, who also serves as President of the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy — recognized this year for the stunning preservation work at Untermyer Gardens, a 43-acre historic public garden in Yonkers, New York.

“The Untermyer Gardens Conservancy has worked long and hard to revive this long-ruined landscape, and it is gratifying to witness the astronomical growth in visitation,” said Untermyer President Stephen F. Byrns. “Recognition by the Preservation League is the cherry on the cake, for which we are most grateful.”

Congratulations to all of this year’s awardees who continue to shape New York’s legacy through preservation and design!
