A great day at NYU Stern! BKSK Partner Todd Poisson and TS Projects Founder Trevor Stahelski participated in NYU Stern’s 2025 Luxury & Lifestyle Real Estate Summit, presenting the Twenty Two New York Hotel as a case study in creating contemporary luxury through the preservation of historic architecture.

Their session highlighted the transformation of 16 East 16th Street—an 1891 R. H. Robertson–designed YWCA residence on the edge of Union Square Park—into a nine-story, 80,000-square-foot boutique hotel and private club now known as the Twenty Two New York. The adaptive reuse project elevates the original six-story structure while honoring its historic character.
