Topping Out at 101 East 9th Street

A high-rise building under construction, framed by scaffolding and safety netting, stands between older buildings on a city street with a bike lane and traffic.

A milestone at 101 East 9th Street. The BKSK team recently gathered to mark the topping out of our residential project in Manhattan’s East Village. Designed by BKSK and developed by Moonshot Development, the 10-story mixed-use building brings new residences and ground-floor retail to the corner of East 9th Street and Fourth Avenue.

With the structure now topped out, the building’s form and presence within the neighborhood are beginning to take shape. We’re looking forward to seeing the design come to life as work continues toward completion.
